PERI Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how KV2 Marketing LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the PERI mobile application (the "App"). PERI is a wellness app designed to support women navigating perimenopause through symptom tracking, cycle tracking, educational video content, and a community feature.

By using PERI, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. Your password is never stored in plain text — it is securely hashed by our authentication provider.

Profile information. You may set a display name, which is visible to other users in the Community feature.

Health and wellness tracking information. PERI lets you voluntarily log:

• Symptoms (such as hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, brain fog, sleep trouble, joint pain, and fatigue), an associated severity rating, and any notes you choose to add
• Menstrual cycle and period information, including dates and flow intensity you log

AI Coach conversation history. If you use the Peri AI Coach feature, we store your conversation messages with Peri so she can remember context across sessions and provide continuity of care. We also store a summary of information Peri learns about you through your conversations — such as lifestyle habits and preferences you voluntarily share — to provide personalized guidance. This information is used solely to operate the AI Coach feature and is not used for advertising.

Community content. Any posts you write in the Community feature are stored and displayed to other users along with your display name.

Subscription and purchase information. If you subscribe to PERI, our subscription management provider (RevenueCat) receives a unique identifier for your account along with your subscription/entitlement status. We do not collect or store your payment card details — those are handled directly by Apple App Store or Google Play.

Technical information. Like most apps, certain technical information (such as device type and general usage logs) may be collected automatically by our service providers as part of normal operation.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the App's features
• Authenticate your account and keep it secure
• Display your tracked data back to you within the App
• Operate the Community feature
• Process and manage subscriptions
• Send you transactional emails, such as account confirmation and password reset codes
• Respond to your support requests

We do not use your health tracking data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate the App, and only to the extent needed for them to perform their function:

• Supabase — our database, authentication, and backend hosting provider; stores account, profile, tracking, and community data
• Mux — hosts and streams the App's educational video content
• RevenueCat — manages subscription status and entitlements
• Apple App Store / Google Play — process subscription payments directly; we do not receive your full payment details
• Resend — delivers transactional emails (such as sign-up confirmation and password reset codes)
• Anthropic — powers the Peri AI Coach. To generate Peri's responses, we send your conversation messages along with your recent symptom and cycle check-in data (used to personalize her coaching) to Anthropic's API. We ask for your permission the first time you use the AI Coach, and you can use every other part of the app without enabling it. Data sent to Anthropic is processed according to Anthropic's privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of KV2 Marketing LLC, our users, or others.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls restricting who can view your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide you the App's features. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain information for legal or accounting purposes.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You can review and update your display name at any time within the App's Profile tab. You can delete individual Community posts you've created. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information beyond what's available in the App, contact us using the information below.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, including rights specific to health information under certain state laws. We will honor applicable legal requests to the extent required.

7. Children's Privacy

PERI is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
